Nuttal’s arrival at Hearts of Oak saw the attacker earning regular first team action ahead of Cosmos Dauda who was the preferred choice for previous Coaches at the Club.

The player made use of the opportunity handed by the Scottish manager where he made a big impression in the Ghana Premier League ultimately earning himself a place in the Black Stars B team that won the WAFU Cup of Nations tournament in Cape Coast, a competition he scored twice to help the team clinch the trophy.
