Dreams FC recorded their first victory in the GHALCA G8 tournament after beating Kotoko 1-0 at the Babayara Sports Stadium.
Richard Addae’s solitary strike in the first half saw Dreams FC grab three points at stake to put themselves in a good position to progress to the semi-finals.
Kotoko Coach Steve Polack made nine changes in his starting line-up that played against Eleven Wonders in the opening match as he handed starting roles to new signings Michael Abu, Emmanuel Owusu, Fredrick Boateng, Isaac Amponsah, Fatawu Hamidu and Najeed Abass.
Dreams FC now have the same points with Kotoko and Aduana Stars who will lock horns with Techiman Eleven Wonders on Thursday.
Kotoko will play Aduana Stars in their final group match with Dreams FC taking on Techiman Eleven Wonders.
