Ghana coach Yussif Bisigi has named his 21-strong squad for the 2018 Fifa U-20 Women's World Cup in France next month.
Following the ban on football in the country by the government, the preparation of the team for the tournament almost hit a snag at a point, as their training tour to Spain was cancelled. They had to travel to Kumasi for preparatory games.
The team is dominated by several of the players from the Black Maidens team that featured at U-17 Women's World Cup two years ago. Also, two players - Sandra Owusu Ansah and Ernestina Abambila - that took part in 2016 U-20 Women's World Cup have been included in the squad.
Meanwhile, Ghana will be without injured star striker Princella Adubea, who scored nine goals in the qualifiers.
The Black Princesses have been paired with France, Netherlands and New Zealand in Group A. They will open their campaign against the hosts at the Stade de la Rabine, Vannes before facing the Netherlands three days later.
Full squad:
Goalkeepers: Agyemang Esther, Annan Martha, Mc Carthy Kerrie.
Defenders: Hagan Cecilia, Tweneboah, Justice Amoako, Linda Anane, Belinda Badu, Evelyn Agbonadzi, Shine Asamoah, Joyce Asuako Philicity
Midfielders: Asantewaa Grace, Acheampong, Grace Abambila, Ernestina, Anokye, Olivia, Agyemang Adu
Forwards: Obeng Helena, Anima Ruth, Patience Peterson, Sandra Owusu Ansah, Rafia Alhassan.
