Chairman of the Ghana Football Association's Normalisation Committee, Dr. Kofi Amoah has disclosed that the decision to pay players of the special competition directly was borne out of the meeting with captains of the various clubs.
Opinions have been divided since the NC revealed the players will be paid directly following the meeting with club administrators on Tuesday.
Some of the Premier League clubs are unconvinced by the idea and look to withdraw from the stop-gap competition.
However, Dr. Amoah insists footballers who are the main actors of the game must be given what they deserve hence the direct payment of their entitlements to their accounts.
“We’ve listened to the players and all the concerns they raised about their salaries and issues relating to it," Dr. Amoah disclosed on Asempa FM.
He added: "The players are the main actors of the game and we must do things to demonstrate that the players deserve what they must get. What is due to the clubs will go to them and what is due to the players will go to them. The game is for the players.'
''The player is important and the clubs themselves even agree. Revelations from our meeting with the players was very revealing and we must focus on player-club relationship.''

'Papa nono'. It you give the to the so-called club owner, they will pay 15% of what toy gave them to the players. is only in some African countries that the club owner do not respect the player and the spectators (supporters). I support the NC to make our football like the British Premiere club, Italian Serial A etc!
if players have complained about their salary, this is not the way to go. what you're doing is ethically wrong. you're only creating confusion between the players and their managers. those who are using their radio and TV stations to defend this should know that they can't pretend to love these players than their employers. they should try to form clubs and see how it is. you have defended some people to hijack their game and they are not playing. if you really love them and not to create confusion or to insight them against their employers, you won't have stopped them from playing their league.
