FIFA has extended the mandate of the Ghana Football Association's Normalisation Committee for another six months, the extension was confirmed at a press conference at the FA Secretariat on Friday.

The NC will be working with a Task Force that was created by the World Football Governing body to work hand in hand and ensure football returns to normalcy in the West African nation.

The Joint Task Force is made up of  President of the Normalization Committee Dr. Kofi Amoah, Peter Limacher from FIFA, Jean Samuel Leuba from FIFA, Godfred Dame a representative of the Government of Ghana and Solomon Mudege also from FIFA.

Meanwhile, the Normalisation Committee also confirmed the replacement of Lawyer Dua Adonteng by former Ghana defender Samuel Osei Kuffuor.

The two teams have until September 30th to complete their work.

FIFA has clearly spell out the work of the NC and the Task Force, which remains seeing to the day to day administration of FA, making some changes to the statutes of the FA as well as designing the road-map to the next GFA election.
