The Managing Editor of the New Crusading Guide newspaper, Kweku Baako Jnr has described the debate surrounding the total amount spent by the Black Stars at the just ended AFCON as 'premature ejaculation'.
The Minister of Youth and Sports, Isaac Kwame Asiamah told Parliament on Wednesday that the state spent $4,564,532.00 during the competition.
This figure has generated a lot of controversies as many feel the amount is too much especially considering the fact that the team was evicted at the round of 16 stage of the tournament.
Ace broadcaster and host of Peace FM morning show 'Kokrokoo', Kwame Sefa Kayi in reaction to this said it 'doesn't make sense' to spend such an amount describing the Black Stars as a 'cash cow'. Click to read
Reacting to the amount spent and the controversies surrounding it, on Joy Newsfile programme, Saturday, Kweku Baako said 'nothing has gone amiss'.
According to him, the amount will be subjected to auditing and verification" therefore the hullabaloo is 'too early'.
"I think it is too early; it is premature ejaculation...we should wait. For me, nothing has gone amiss. People, of course, are right to question...But everything will be discoverable after an audit. So why the rush? The figures the Minister presented are preliminary, subject to verification. It is too early for the kind of noise going out there” he said.

These days and auditing-what would you expect the auditors to come and tell you, Kweku? Let people express their sentiments.
if he cannot defend this is how he goes around it.
kwaku baako will not analyse issues by giving his observations as people are doing. he will ignore the main issue and spent his time on reactions from other people who keep on asking relevant questions and putting relevant wholes in what has been given them by the minister. anyway,in this circumstance that the minister or whoever involved was giving dollars to some journalists in a way that seeks to silence them, do you expect kwaku baako to dissent and loose his share?
What is this man Baako talking about ? Will the "audit and verification" reduce the figure? And they are telling us they don't even know how many supporters they flew to Egypt! Airfare alone was almost a million USD! How can it be acceptable that you don't know how many supporters you flew to Egypt? If it was your personal money is that how you would spend it?
Kweku Baako I put it to you that you have premature ejaculation. In fact i put it to you that you have been suffering from this since you were a child. You need a DNA on ur kids man. You like using this term too much.
