Wondering if you’ve made it in life?
Well to be truly keeping up with the Maaahmas, you must have unlimited access to iced-water.
The Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) says it will start measuring success in life not by our salaries or the cars we drive but by “the ease with which we can access iced-water.”
GSS says the decision to ditch the traditional indicators of economic progress was inspired by President John Mahama’s claim that increased access to iced-water is a strong sign of a nation on the rise.
The statisticians however maintained that the measure of success of our Ogas will still be continued to be counted in the number of houses, petrol filling stations and V8 SUV vehicles they can acquire with our national resources.
