Factionalism in the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) nearly reached a violent point when some members of the Get Alan Kyerematen Elected (GAKE) is alleged to have escaped assault by fellow party members who have vowed to beat up anyone seeking to advance the course of the Alan group.
