The violence associated with the presidential ambition of the defeated flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, was taken a notch higher last Friday when his bodyguards and supporters physically attacked a leading member of the party and assaulted other perceived supporters of his fiercest contender, Mr Alan Kyeremanten at the party�s National Executive Council (NEC) meeting held at the Alisa Hotel in Accra last Friday.
