The Upper East Region which had its turn of the National Sanitation Day (NSD) on Saturday recorded high turnout for the event.
People from all walks of lives including market women, students, traditional authorities, staff of government departments among others turned out in their numbers to participate in the exercise which took place in the central, western and eastern parts of the Region.
