Three incumbent Members of parliament (MPs) in the Eastern Region, namely Ofosu Asamoa, David Oppong Kusi and Peter Wiafe Peprah of Kade, Ofoase Ayirebi and Abetifi constituencies respectively, have declared their intentions not to contest again.
