As the US Championships season heats up numerous Ghanaian athletes showed their quality this weekend. A host of seasonal bests was the result, most noteworthy of which was Alex Amankwah's personal best equaling 1:45.91 800m clocking, Solomon Afful's personal best of 20.68m in the 200m, and Gemma Acheampong's 11.49s personal best in the 100m (her 23.92s clocking in the 200m was windy).
