The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has announced a 9 percent increase in the price of petroleum products with effect from May 17, 2015. According to the NPA, the increase is due to the rise in FOB prices of petroleum products and the depreciation of the Ghana Cedi in terms of the US dollar and other major foreign currencies.
