The Electoral Commission has slated the Abetifi Constituency by-election for Tuesday, July 19.

A statement signed by Mr Amadu Sulley, EC Deputy Chair, Operations, and copied to the Ghana News Agency on Wednesday, said following the death of the Member of Parliament for the Abetifi, Peter Wiafe Pepera and in accordance with Article 112(5) of the Constitution, as amended, the EC would be organising the by-election.
