Akim Asafo Senior High School has received help from MTN Ghana Foundation to resolve the problem of large class sizes, classes under trees and the use of makeshift structures. MTN has commissioned a GH¢289,000 project for the school, which includes a three-unit classroom block, a store, classroom furniture, white boards, an office and a staff common room. The project is expected to benefit over 1,470 students of Akim Asafo and its surrounding communities.
