At least 12 former executives of the New Patriotic Party in the Sunyani East Constituency have abandoned their parliamentary candidate support an independent candidate, George Kumi. According to the former executives, the fortunes of the NPP in the constituency has been narrowed due to divisions, which they say require a unifier like Mr Kumi to strengthen, especially going into Wednesday’s elections.
