New Juaben Municipal Assembly has banned the use of pan latrines to improve upon sanitation in the area. Consequently, the use of underground surface holding tanks at public toilets sites has been stopped and the assembly is offering between GH�100 and GH�150 cedis as grant to households using pan latrines to construct KVIP or water closets.
