The incumbent National Treasurer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ms. Gifty Asantewaa Ayeh, popularly known as Daavi Ama, has declared her intention not to seek re-election for the position she has held for the past eight years. On the impending elections for the NPP�s National Executive Officers, she said she is backing the former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Trade Fair Company, Ms Esther Ofori for the position of National First Vice Chairperson.
