Developments that have characterized the NDC�s return to power are beginning to reveal lapses in our political system that must be openly discussed and tackled, not tucked under the rug to fester. Our democratic experiment cannot thrive on such lapses. What should be the relationship between a political party and the government that it forms? Should the political party seek to function as the government? If that political party falls apart, what will it mean for the government and the country?
