Dr. Mawuli Lumor, officer in charge of the Ankobra River Basin, at Tarkwa, yesterday confirmed that the Water Resources Commission (WRC) has not granted permits to the five Chinese and five Ghanaians, charged for illegal mining, popularly known as ‘galamsey,’ in River Ankobra, at Bamiankor in the Western Region.
