The ongoing construction of the Achimota lorry terminal in Accra has almost been completed, and the place will be opened next month. The terminal, which has the parking capacity for 800 vehicles, has other facilities which include a police post, a clinic, four 20-unit toilet facility, and 10 canteens which cost about GH�1.2 million.
