Exactly 190 years ago today, the Presbyterian Church of Ghana was established. It was exactly 18th December, 1828, that the first batch of missionaries of the Basel Evangelical Mission Society in Basel Switzerland arrived in the Gold Coast with the main aim of preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
