The immediate-past dean of the Law Faculty at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Kofi Abotsi, has proposed that the appointment of judges to the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal should be solely vested in the Judicial Council to ensure true independence of the Judiciary.
