Metro TV's Good Evening Ghana host, Paul Adom-Otchere, has described the recent 'Militia in the heart of the nation' documentary produced by Manasseh Azure Awuni of Accra-based Joy FM, as a piece of "crass" and "poor" journalistic work, which had no evidential value whatsoever to prove the claim and narrative of its producer that De-Eye Group Limited, an alleged pro-government militia group, according to Joy FM, was being camped and trained by the New Patriotic Party at the Christianborg Castle – former seat of government – with the tacit knowledge of President Nana Akufo-Addo, in preparation for the 2020 polls.
