Mrs. Helen Annan, a Senior Communications Director at the Office of the president, has donated a cheque for GH�600 to the Komenda Widows and Orphans Movement to mark UN International Day of Widows at a ceremony in Komenda. The ceremony was attended by over 40 widows and their children. The donation was to assist the group to acquire seedlings and spraying machines for their farming activities.
