Church Donates To Kasoa Hospital

Sureway Assemblies of God Church, Ghana located at Kasoa in the Central Region has donated a set of Ups and Computers to the Kasoa government hospital to help in the storage of documents. The set of the computers and the Ups valued at GH�1,400 was presented to the church last Friday by the leadership of the church led by Rev. Daniel Nana Boateng, the head Pastor of the Church. Presenting the items, Rev. Boateng, who is also the District Pastor said as part of social responsibilities of the church and to the community, the church was touched to come to the rescue of the hospital after an appeal was made. According to him, the church should not only preach the gospel but must also demonstrate its practicality hence the need to support the hospital to help provide quality services to the residents. �We believe that there is the need to contribute our quota to the community. We believe we must reach out to the needy and other organizations. Indeed as a church, we have many obligations but social responsibility is one core function of the church and we have just come here to present this as our token of contribution towards helping the hospital,� he said. Mr. Abdallah Shardow, the Hospital Administrator who received the items on behalf of the Hospital thanked the church for speedily responding to their needs. According to him, the hospital at a point appealed to the church and others to come to their aid and pledged that the items will be used to fulfill its purpose to the benefit of the community.
