Information available to Citi News indicates the Director of Operations of the Friends of Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, [FONKAR] Ernest Owusu-Bempah will not honour the Bureau of National Investigations invitation scheduled for today.
Mr. Bempah is expected to appear before the national investigative outfit this morning on the request of the BNI Director.
The BNI expects him to answer questions relating to his allegation that the First Lady, Mrs. Naadu Mills received part of the judgement debt paid to Mr. Alfred Woyome.
Mr. Owusu-Bempah alleged that the First Lady, Mrs.Mills received 5 million dollars from embattled businessman, Alfred Woyome.
The office of the First Lady has since denied the allegation and described it as baseless.
The reasons for his failure to honour the invitations are sketchy but Citi News checks indicate that Mr. Owusu-Bempah is in the Ashanti Region.
