Businesses Urged To Employ Business Automation System

The Deputy Managing Director of Lakeside Estate Limited, Mr. Prince-Joseph Ayiku has urged businesses to adapt to changing trends in technology and employ business automation system. Speaking in an interview with the Press, Mr. Ayiku explained that automation, which is computerized way of providing services, would provide the added impetus to increase communication, control cost, reduce risk, increase IT control and deliver quality service to clients which according to him would go a long way to grow and safeguard business transactions for companies. Business Automobile applies current IT Systems which can be modified according to the needs of an organization and also has specialized tools which could be purchased for automated work flow. He appealed to Government and other stakeholders to make automation a requirement in the setting up of institutions and organizations since it is a key elements towards business and national development. Mr. Ayiku cited the recent fire outbreak at the Lands Commission (LC) as an example, stressing that thousands of vital documents which were destroyed by the raging fire could have been avoided if the systems were automated. He further explained that this would reduce delays in the Commissions search reports and speed up decision making process in property acquisition in Ghana. He described the incident as unfortunate and appealed to authorities at the Lands Commission to adopt the business automation system of operation to enhance their activities and to boost investor�s confidence. Mr. Ayiku urged businesses to strategically position themselves in this 21st Century to employ business automation system as a tool for Business growth and economic development.
