The Young Patriots will tomorrow 20th March, 2012 hold a gargantuan demonstration through the principal streets of the Upper East Regional capital Bolgatanga. The demonstration will start from the St John�s Park, where all demonstrators from across the region will converge. It will go through some principals streets and terminate at St John�s Park were organisers of the demonstration and other leaders of the region will address the gathering. A petition will then be presented to the President of the Republic of Ghana through the Regional Minister for onward transmission to the President. The demonstration is principally to pressure the government to implement SADA projects it promised the people of the region. Projects such as the Pwalugu Hydro dam, Bolga Stadium, the expansion of the general hospital which is at a standstill, the stalled Bolga market, the Bolga- Bawku road, Via water project, among others. As part of further measures to ensure our demands are met, we are collecting signatures and names of residents of the region to be presented to development partners to ensure that all loans and monies taken in the name of SADA are retrieved and put into SADA projects rather than paying fraudulent, non-existing judgment debts to friends of the President.
