NDC Schemes Against Its Own...As Kofi Adams Is Secretly Recorded???

Kofi Adams, Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and Special Aide to ex-President Rawlings, has described as baseless and without merit, reports that he is scheming at running his own party down following the recording of a private conversation he is alleged to have had with Executive Director of policy think-tank Danquah Institute, Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko. Ghanaian Lens newspaper, in a publication on Tuesday, 20 March 2012, claims Kofi Adams has vowed to ensure that the NDC loses this years presidential polls and went further to describe him as a traitor within the party. The paper also claimed Kofi Adams has been frustrating all attempts to reconcile the NDC leadership and the Rawlingses. According to the publication, right after the NDCs Sunyani Congress, Kofi Adams reached out to Gabby and pledged his personal commitment to ensure that President Mills who defeated Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings for the NDC's presidential mandate fails in his bid for re-election in the December polls. The newspaper alleges this "agreement" with the Executive Director of the Danquah Institute, which was made on phone, was recorded (tapped). The leaked tape had a voice purportedly that of Mr Adams, saying he will do all he can to prevent President Mills from securing the mandate from Ghanaians for a second term.
