Appoint Sellas Tetteh As Black Stars Coach- Felix Aboagye

Ex-Ghana forward Felix Aboagye is urging the Ghana Football Association to appoint Sellas Tetteh as Goran Stevanovics successor. The Football Association parted ways with the Serbian trainer on Monday after weeks of deliberations. Aboakye-who currently works as an assistant coach of Premier League side Liberty Professionals- is optimistic the 2009 Fifa Under-20 World Cup winning coach has the credentials to lead the Black Stars. Sellas is the best local coach placed to handle the team and I will employ the FA to appoint him and Akwasi Appiah to take charge of the team, said the former Al Ahly player. He has worked under four expatriate coaches, won the World Youth championship and what else can you ask for. He has the experience and most of the current Black Stars players came through his ranks and so the issue of his inability to manage the ego of the players does not come in at all. He commands a lot of respect and I believe he will be the best choice for the job. Tetteh was assistant coach for Ghana at the 2006 Fifa World Cup finals and was named stop-gap coach in 2008. He has also worked as head coach of Rwandas national team.
