The Wa Municipal Assembly has inched closer to ensuring quality education when it collaborated with the Municipal Education Directorate to improve furniture in some selected schools in the municipality. Over 1,000 dual desks procured by the Assembly forms part of efforts by the NDC government to improve the standard of education in all parts of the country, especially the local communities. In another development, the Assembly in its quest to improve access roads in the Wa Township, has completed grading works on the Jonga-Tabease stretch in Wa. This move was initiated to enhance the road network in the entire municipality.
