Israeli Embassy To Host Agric Seminar

The Israeli Embassy in Ghana will host a two-day seminar to promote and introduce an upcoming agric and innovation exhibition which will be held in Israel later this year. With support from the National Food and Agric Show (FAGRO) Secretariat, the seminars will take place on 26th March at Cleaver House in Accra and on 27th March at the Golden Tulip in Kumasi. Mondo Bosmat, an experienced farmer and expert in Israeli agricultural technologies, will be the lead speaker at the seminars. His lecture will focus on the principle of Israeli innovation in agriculture under the theme, �How to get more for less.� Mr. Bosmat will also focus on increasing the output and profitability of farming while reducing the resources being used. Dizengoff Ghana will also be presenting advanced irrigation solutions, especially suitable for Ghana�s agricultural market at the seminars. The FAGRO Secretariat, whose key objective is to assist in moving Ghana�s agriculture to a highly commercial stage and to create business and investment opportunities, is upbeat about the upcoming seminars. According to FAGRO, it presents a lot of business opportunities for the Ghanaian agribusiness community. The 18th International Agric exhibition will be held in Tel Aviv, Israel from May 15-17 and is expected to attract more than 7,000 foreign visitors from 115 countries.
