Kofi Adams Should Simply Resign From The NDC MTN

Outspoken NDC Member of Parliament for Lower Manya Krobo, Hon. Michael Teye Nyaunu has offered a word of advice to the party's suspended deputy General Secretary Kofi Adams; just resign. Hon Teye-Nyaunu believes Mr Adams will be given a raw deal when he does appear before the Disciplinary Committee of the party tasked with unraveling the veracity or otherwise of allegations via recordings leveled against him. The NDC Disciplinary Committee led by Professor Kofi Awoonor is investigating his (Adams) alleged scheming with the Executive Director of the Danquah Institute, Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, to scuttle the second term bid President John Evans Atta Mills, whiles Mr. Adams serves a 90-day suspension. This followed the recording of a private conversation he is alleged to have had with Gabby, the contents of which have since been made public. Known for his bluntness of speech, MTN, who intends contesting the upcoming parliamentary elections in his constituency as an independent candidate, stressed that the writing is clear on the wall that Kofi Adams will definitely not get a fair hearing. Speaking in an interview on Citi Eye Witness News, the NDC MP is of the strong opinion that though the matter has been referred to the DC, the Executives have already prejudged Kofi Adams with their preconceived notions on the matter, as such it will be a waste of time to keep on contesting his innocence. He should resign because he is not going to get a fair hearingits obvious...he said that that is not his voice but you (NEC) still insist when you have not got any evidence Executives as well as ministers of state have already drawn their conclusionsI have been through it before; anybody who wants to fight your credibility, you must fight the person with all your two hands, he said.
