NDC Not Scared Of Nana Addo-Bawumia ticket - Yaw Boateng-Gyan

The ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) is self-assured of defeating the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) once more in December, no matter who Nana Akufo-Addo nominates as his running mate. There are clear indications that the partys 2008 running mate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will be retained and official announced today. The former Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana arrived home from Tunisia Tuesday night ahead of the official announcement scheduled for Thursday at a National Council of Elders meeting. Speaking to Citi News, Yaw Boateng-Gyan, the NDC National Organiser, said the party will be excited over the old Nana Addo-Bawumia ticket. We are so much elated over the NPP ticket and let me tell you that this battle is fiercely going to be fought and at the end of the day, I think we are going to come tops, he said. Boateng-Gyan stated: Well is the same team that is coming to meet Atta Mills and John Mahama, which is the Nana and Bawumia ticket that met our ticket in 2008. The way we have conducted ourselves in government we are going to use the same strategy we used in 2008 to beat them in December, he said.
