A TRANSGENDER model who was booted out of a Miss Universe competition for being born a man has won the right to re-enter the contest. Curvy Jenna Talackova, 23, was disqualified from Miss Universe Canada last month when bosses discovered that she used to be a man.But more than 25,000 people signed an online petition calling for her to be reinstated as a contestant. Yesterday pageant bosses, The Miss Universe Organization, issued a statement saying that Jenna could compete as long as she meets "gender recognition requirements". The body said: �The Miss Universe Organization will allow Jenna Talackova to compete in the 2012 Miss Universe Canada pageant provided she meets the legal gender recognition requirements of Canada, and the standards established by other international competitions.�
