Judicial Service Suspends Strike Threat

The Judicial Service Staff Association of Ghana, JUSAG said it has rescinded its threat to demonstrate in protest of delay in payment of their subventions. The National Executives Committee of JUSAG made the decision at a meeting on Monday. Francis Brakwah, Chairman of the Association, said the decision is based on hints of payment of their subventions by government. In an interview with Citi News, Mr. Brakwah said the meeting came off yesterday and what happened was that we had positive responds from the government. As at last week, we had subvention for that of February and the signals were having is that the government would be releasing that of January and March so whatever action we intended to take has been held on.
