President Obama�s reelection may be in the stars. The general election is a "Leo" vs. "Pisces" throwdown � and the lion looks strong. A panel of five astrologers unanimously agreed at the United Astrologers Conference that President Obama will beat Mitt Romney on Election Day. Chicago astrologist and panelist Nina Gryphon said that her prediction stems from the "Aries" ingress, the moment when the Sun crosses over to the sign of Aries. "It's obvious," Gryphon told Reuters. "Obama stays where he is without a change in status." New York astrologer Robert Corre agreed � forecasting a close election, with Obama remaining in the White House. Corre said he looked at the candidates' natal horoscopes to make his decision. "Romney will not have the support of the general population," Corre told the Daily News. "Women don�t like him." Manhattan-based life coach and Zen Buddhist Lawrence Grecco also considered the competitors' birth horoscopes. "Barack Obama�s moon is more powerful than Romney�s," Grecco said. "The moon represents public standing. It gives Obama his charisma." The life coach, who also sits on the board of directors for the conference, said that Romney is not quite prepared to be president. "Romney has a moon on the darker side of Scorpio," Grecco said. "It reveals a deep, brooding nature that could be off-putting." The conference, which takes place every four years in New Orleans, has a good track record. In May 2008, a panel of six astrologists unanimously predicted that Obama would win over Sen. John McCain. Their track record, however, may be in jeopardy. Grecco warned that mercury is set to come into retrograde the day before the election. The last time mercury entered retrograde was on Election Day in 2000, when President George W. Bush narrowly won over then-Vice President Al Gore. The 2000 election provoked wide-spread controversy when discrepancies in Florida ballots led the U.S. Supreme Court to order a recount. "There could be another similar mix-up," Grecco said. "It�ll be interesting to see what happens."
