Big Brother Stargame: South Africa And Namibia Up For Eviction

South Africas Keagan & Lee, Namibias Jesica & Junia are up for eviction this week. After a stressful week in Upville, none of the nominated housemates were evicted on Sunday nights live Big Brother StarGame Eviction show (10 June, live on DStv Channel 197 & 198 at 20:00 CAT). Theres no reprieve for the Downville housemates though, as South Africas Keagan & Lee and Namibians Jesica & Junia are up for eviction this week after the random nomination process. Ugandan guitar virtuoso Maurice Kirya kicked off the show with his hit song Misubbawa and DJ Fetty from Tanzanias Cloud FM kept the studio audience entertained during ad breaks. Last weeks evicted housemates, Eve, Mildred and Edith got to have their say about their time in Downville. Eve called the experience amazing and said it had been very different to what she had expected. She was disappointed to be evicted on her birthday and was shocked by the buzz around her and Roki outside the house. Mildred explained the hair issue, which had seen her refuse to take the stage after being summoned from Downville during last weeks eviction show. Its the most ridiculous thing Ive done. It was two issues one, it was an emotional breakdown on stage and two, I was assured to look beautiful on that day and it didnt happen, so it was more disappointment, she said. I was dealing with parting with my partner so I kept my sadness off stage so I didnt offend anyone if I did so, Im sorry. She also admitted as Keitta did last week that she would have played the game differently had she not had her boyfriend around. Edith said the experience had been wild and crazy and said that Big Brother StarGame had brought her and her sister closer. She will miss Wati and Keagan most the former, for the way he made her laugh and the latter because he brought out the things in her personality she usually tries to suppress. Viewers got a chance to see the lead-up and aftermath of DKB and Zainabs explosive fight during the week, which resulted in both housemates being disqualified. IK reminded viewers that Big Brother will not tolerate any violence in the house. DKB has subsequently issued an apology. A review of life in Downville in the past week was up next, featuring Keagan and Junias water fight, a win in their art wager and some Jacuzzi fun. Keagan continued his stranglehold on the Head of House position by winning yet another HOH task. Next up was a reminder of the week that was, in Upville, including Keittas arrival making waves among male and female housemates alike, Goldie and Prezzos continued dalliance, yet another odd moment from Roki out in the rain, a task win and Lady Mays victory in the Head of House challenge. IK then took viewers into Upville and chatted to a few of the housemates before letting them off the eviction hook, telling them hed chat to them next weekend, cueing wild celebrations from the VIPs. Maurice Kirya performed I Dont Wanna Fight before IK invited the Sizwe Ntsaluba Gobodo auditor and random nomination apparatus operator Buhle on stage to start the process for the Downville nominations. IK told viewers that two countries would be nominated for eviction this week, but that two housemates would be evicted and two would upgrade to Upville and they need not necessarily be partners. After checking in with the Downville housemates, it was time for Buhle to push the big red button. Namibia was the first ball out of the box - the 7th country to be nominated in Big Brother StarGame. The auditor confirmed that Jesica and Junia would be the first nominated pair and IK asked Buhle to spin the box once more. South Africas ball dropped into the box and the Sizwe Ntsaluba Gobodo auditor confirmed that Lee and Keagan would also be up for eviction next week. With 19 housemates left in the game, and 59 days to play, anything goes in the quest to bag the USD300 000 prize.
