PNC government would not take over state properties

Mr Daniel Nibi, Vice Chairman of the Peoples National Convention (PNC), has condemned the alleged grabbing of state properties by selfish politicians, instead of using those properties in the interest of the state. He said the PNC would not support the practice if voted into power in Election 2012 Mr Nibi was speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Bolgatanga during the partys primaries to elect its parliamentary aspirant, and constituency executives at the weekend. He said that the PNC would win the Bolgatanga, Talensi Nabdam , Bawku Central, Builsa North and Builsa South seats in the Upper East Region, in the forthcoming elections. Mr Nibi said some Ghanaians were disillusioned about the policies and programmes of the present and past governments, which he noted had created hardships for the people. He said: A majority of Ghanaians are now fed up with the NDC and NPP governments and they now want a change of government for a PNC government, which would turn the fortunes of the country around. He blamed the delay in organizing the primaries in Bolgatanga constituency to the differences between Mr David Apasera and Mr Rockson Akugre , the two parliamentary aspirants but the problem has been solved . Mr David Apasera got 110 to beat his opponent Mr Rockson Akugre, who had 83 votes.
