Upper East Region Police Screen Ten Suspects In Relation To Recent Communal Violence
The Upper East Regional Police command is screening the ten suspects arrested in relation with communal violence in Dorongo and Sokabisi.
The violence is reported to be over a disputed land.
Speaking to Radio Ghana's correspondent, the Regional Commander DCOP Bright Oduro confirmed one person dead.
He said four others said to have sustained serious cutlass wounds are on admission at the hospital.
Calm he said has however been restored to the communities and police presence beefed up.
