First Embassy Fair Opens In Accra

The maiden embassy fair designed to bring Diplomatic Missions and Embassies operating in Ghana together to educate the public on their activities opened in Accra on Tuesday. Organised by Precise Marketing Solutions Limited, the two-day Embassy Fair aims to encourage the embassies to promote their services and show-case their achievements and contributions they had made to the socio-economic development of Ghana. Mr. Stephen Gyasi-Kwaw, Chief Executive Officer of Precise Marketing Solutions Limited said the event would provide a platform for the general public to access information on all the various services and programmes offered by the diplomatic missions based in Ghana. He said during the fair, the general public and the business community would be able to access information on various services, including trade and investment, international education, development programmes, funding and immigration issues. Mr. Gyasi-Kwaw said the fair would enable communities seeking support for development projects to have access to information on how to proceed on getting support for their initiatives. He asked Ghanaian businesses and companies to leverage on the opportunity provided by the fair to network in order to tap into the competitive global market. Generally, we aim to bridge the information gap between the general public and diplomatic missions in Ghana in visa and travel information and trade and investment advice, said Mr. Gyasi-Kwaw, adding that the company planned to hold the event annually. Dr Erieka Bennett, Head of Mission of AU Diaspora African Forum, said the fair would help encourage development. The main attractions for the event are exhibitions, seminars, and networking, and would be climaxed with a networking event dubbed "Speednetwork the Globe" to connect Ghanaian business community to introduce their services and products to the diplomatic community in Ghana.
