Herbert Mensah calls for unity after President Mills' death

Mr Herbert Mensah, a close ally of former President Jerry John Rawlings, on Tuesday called on the general public to remain unified after the death of President John Evans Atta Mills. President John Evans Atta Mills was confirmed dead by the Chief of Staff, Mr Henry Martey Newman, at the 37 Military Hospital. Mr Mensah, in an interview with the Ghana News Agency, said it was the first time in the history of the country to have its sitting president pass on and that it was not time for any blame game. He said an individual could not determine when to die and called on the general public to accord the family and the First Lady, Mrs Ernestina Naadu Mills, the needed support.
