President Atta Mills� death represents a big loss for Ghana, the country for which he has dedicated his life.
I salute the memory of the guardian of the Institutions and the Defender of the Ghanaian democracy he has always been.
President Atta Mills was committed to protect the national unity.
He was also profoundly attached to the African unity and to the place of Africa within the international community.
I address to the People of Ghana and to the Ghanaian authorities my most sincere condolences.
