Lydia Forson Signs Book of Condolence In Sierra Leone

Actress Lydia Forson joined many Ghanaians and non-Ghanaians in Sierra Leone to mourn the death of late Ghana president, John Evans Atta Mills. She was yesterday invited by the Ghana High Commission in Sierra Leone to sign a book of condolence for the late president. Former president John Evan Atta Mills died Tuesday afternoon at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra, after he reportedly complained of throat pains. His death was received with shock around the world, with Ghanaians experiencing the greatest shock of all. Former Vice President John Mahama was hours later sworn-in as the new president of Ghana. Tributes from a number of Ghanaian celebrities have since been pouring in. Lydia sent a lot of tributes on social network twitter after the president�s death. One of her tributes read: �RIP President John Atta Mills, I believed in you till the very end. You were one of the greatest�� Immediately after signing the book of condolence, she wrote on her BlackBerry status; �So humbled that Ghanaian High commission invited me to come and sign a condolence book for my dear late president. At least in a foreign country I don�t mourn alone.� Lydia Forson has been on location for a movie in Sierra Leone for over a week with top African stars.
