The 26-year-old has grown increasingly frustrated at Kotoko after claiming he has been treated like an �outcast� by head coach Maxwell Konadu and his backroom staff.
The former Lokeren FC attacker has not hidden his desire to seek a move away from the Premier League Champions and is now prepared to walk the talk by leaving the club for his native Ivory Coast.
The club�s administrative manager Ben Nti has confirmed the player�s unwillingness to continue his contractural obligations to the Kumasi-based side.
�The issue is not about indiscipline. It is not as if we cannot manage Ahmed Toure. We have managed him up to this level,� Nti told Kumasi-based Fox FM
�But this is the situation that the player says he won�t play again and want to return to his country,�
�If the player says he won�t be play again, can you force him? You can�t do that. It is not a matter of indiscipline so we should get it right.�
Toure has been linked with a number of top sides including giants Hearts of Oak and mega-spenders Berekum Chelsea.
