"The Ablakwas, Stan Dogbe's, Fifi Kweteys Could Derail NDCs Campaign"

A Political and Economic Analyst, Sydney Casely-Hayford, has cautioned the National Democratic Congress (NDC) against using the issue of age as a campaign message in the upcoming elections. According to him, one of the major criticisms leveled against the party is the use of youthful officials in government who are perceived as lacking the requisite experience in undertaking their duties. Speaking on Citi FMs election coverage programme, The Campaign Trail, Mr. Casely-Hayford noted that although the NDC boasts of having a lot of youthful personalities in its fold, the lack of experience and wisdom could work against their campaign drive. This age thing might or might not play out well for the NDC and we should forget that one of the things that has come out in the media a lot is that the young boys of the NDC, the Okudzeto Ablakwas, the Fiifi Kweteys, Richard Quarshigah and Stan Dogbe and the rest of them who are the younger part of the NDC have been the bane of the President, he explained. He added that the President suffered a lot of media onslaught for things said by his communication directors who are all young people. If the message is enveloped in a way that these are the very same people that John Mahama with this useful team retains them, its going to be the same as usual and there might be a bit of a backlash.
