Vice President Mr. Bekoe Amissah-Arthur has visited the headquarters of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) to interact and participate in the party�s Functional Executive Committee meeting.
This move by the vice president is expected to whip up enthusiasm among party faithfuls on his resolve to work with the party to ensure victory in the 2012 elections.
According to a source at the party headquarters, �the visit by the vice president to the Functional Executive Committee will go a long way to water down controversies surrounding his party credentials�.
The source indicated that �this will also establish that he is a good player who can effectively partner President John Dramani Mahama and the leadership of the NDC to retain power in December�.
