Mahama Must Not Attempt Reshuffle - Minister

The Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Mike Hammah has supported calls for President John Mahama not to attempt any ministerial reshuffle for the remaining months of his term. Mr. Hammah is the first minister to publicly speak on the matter after calls on the president to assert his authority by effecting changes in government. Speaking to XYZ News during the Presidents Thank you tour to the Central and Western regions, Mike Hamah said he believes the current government officials have served well under the late President Mills and therefore does not see the need for President Mahama to rock the boat. I dont think that he has to rock the boat now. Quite frankly, Professor Mills judgment over the years have been good and most of the appointments that were made he has been part of it so I dont think he would want to shake government now. Mr. Hammah added that it will make a lot of political sense if the President maintains vice President Amisah-Arthur as his running mate in the 2012 polls after his endorsement by the NDC.
