Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo is outlining his vision for Ghana at the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) Presidential Encounter.
Nana Akufo-Addo was originally scheduled to meet the IEA two weeks ago but appealed for the programme to be rescheduled following the death of President John Evans Atta Mills.
He is the third Presidential candidate to sell his vision to the Ghanaian electorate through the IEA platform.
* Promises a corruption-free society should he be voted into office, since he is not corrupt.
* Free SHS education is possible and cost will be funded through the prudent use of resources, guarding the public purse against corruption and using part of revenue generated from the oil find and GETFUND
* Quality education cannot be achieved without teachers being given their due and thus promised every teacher mortage facility to enable them acquire property (house) anywhere of their choice.
* Inspectorate Unit of the Ghana Education Service would also be reviewed and revamped to become more functional
* Promises to see to the completion of the affordable housing project that was started by the previous NPP administration under President Kufuor
